Wanqing Zhou

Wanqing Zhou is a research associate at the Worldwatch Institute and an associate with Brighter Green. Her research touches on the global expansion of industrial animal farming, its impacts and alternatives. In 2014, Wanqing toured multiple cities in China with Brighter Green’s documentary film, WHAT’S FOR DINNER?. Wanqing also worked with the Alliance to Save Energy, China’s National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation, and the World Wide Fund for Nature – China Program Office. Wanqing holds a B.S. in Biotechnology and Ecology from the University of Hong Kong, and an M.A. in Climate & Society from Columbia University.
