Urban agriculture keeps growing across the globe. Unfortunately, this practice often relies on animal exploitation, sometimes unknowingly. Yet, to grow food in a city, without animal exploitation, is not only possible but also desirable for all. The issues linked to urban agriculture (fertilizers, crop materials, chickens, bees) will be discussed and some ideas to grow healthy local food without synthetic inputs or animal products will be proposed.
