Keri Cronin

Dr. Keri Cronin is a Historian of Visual Culture in the Department of Visual Arts at Brock University and co-founder of The Unbound Project: Women on the Front Lines of Animal Advocacy (with Jo-Anne McArthur). Her research focuses on the ways in which activists in the late 19th and early 20th centuries used art to change the world for animals.

She has published Manufacturing National Park Nature: Photography, Ecology, and the Wilderness Industry of Jasper, and Imagining Resistance: Visual Culture & Activism in Canada and her new book ‘Do Not Refuse to Look at These Pictures’: Visual Culture and Animal Advocacy, 1875-1914 should be published soon.

She is also the co-founder of the Niagara VegFest.
