pattrice jones

Since 2002, pattrice jones has conducted dozens of “Queering Animal Liberation” workshops and discussions. In this talk, jones will share some of the ideas that have arisen in the course of that process of collective cognition. Come to learn how harms done to nonhuman animals and LGBTQ people are linked, including abuses of nonhuman animals as part of the social construction of toxic gender roles and portrayals of animals that deny the biodiversity of desire. Stay to imagine how “queering” veganism and animal rights might lead to a more vibrantly effective animal liberation movement.
