François Jaquet is not French. He is Swiss. For the last few months, he has been a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Ethics Research in Montreal. His work is essentially based on metaethics and animal ethics. In the first field, he is the co-author of “Qui peut sauver la morale? Essai de métaéthique” (Ithaque, 2019)’. In the second, his publications focus more on speciesism. He wrote the entry “Spécisme” of the Philosophical Encyclopedia, on which his lecture will be based. In his spare time, he does not cook. But he does the dishes.
