After being drafted by the Montreal Alouettes during the 2010 Canadian Football League draft, Marc-Olivier played nine seasons in the Canadian Football League as a marauder and a linebacker (Montreal Alouettes 2010-2016, Saskatchewan Roughriders 2017-2018).
During his CFL career, Marc-Olivier was heavily involved with the Canadian Football League Players Association, having served as a player representative for many years, and serving on various committees.
Since being admitted to the Bar in 2014, Marc-Olivier has practiced law in two law firms where he has gained experience in construction, insurance, and general liability law.
Following his retirement from professional football in 2019, he rejoined the law firm Robinson Sheppard Shapiro where he first made his debut in 2009 as a student, before returning to do his internship in 2013 and 2014.
Vegan for several years, Marc-Olivier continues to promote healthy eating and physical health. He is currently training to complete his first triathlon.
