A foodie and wine lover, Priya Rao has been active in the world of vegan food & wine since 2011 and is the co-founder of the duo, The Social Herbivore with Master Sommelier, Jennifer Huether. She has written for Grapevine Magazine and Restaurants Canada and is a contributor to VineRoutes, hosting a variety of VineRoutes Video segments, both for their website and social media platforms. She hosts Inside the Green Room for VegTO where she explores all aspects of a fabulous, plant-based lifestyle. Priya also created and co-hosted the TV show, The Drink, for Bell FIBE TV1. Written contributions primarily focus on sustainability topics and vegan food & wine experiences, with a goal to elevate plant-based dining. She is the co-author of Perfect Pairings for Plant-Based Cuisine, the world’s first book on wine pairings for vegan food.
